The full-featured IT hardware rack includes external hard drives for video recording, a network switch rack for indoor and outdoor wireless access points, and PoE ethernet connections for outdoor surveillance hardware.
About the Residential Surveillance System Install:

- IT Rack Installation: This centralized hub serves as the command centre for the different home automation and surveillance systems installed. It includes hard drives for video recording, ensuring that you can keep a watchful eye and backup of the Residential Surveillance System on the property at all times. This further facilitates indoor and outdoor wireless access points, creating a blanket of connectivity that covers every corner of the property. Whether you’re in the living room or the garden, you can enjoy a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection for all your devices.
- Residential Surveillance System: We simplified the installation process by delivering both power and data through a single cable but also ensures a reliable and uninterrupted connection to your security devices. With to-notch Unifi outdoor cameras and a quality smart doorbell, this homeowner can now monitor the home, control the smart doorbell, and receive real-time notifications, all while enjoying a secure and stable network connection throughout the home.
- Cat6 Cabling Installation: To provide high-speed, reliable connectivity throughout the house, we ran Cat6 cabling discreetly through drop ceilings. This allowed us to power and connect wireless access points and Ethernet drops in various rooms. Cat6 cables are designed to handle data at lightning speeds, making them an ideal choice for modern home networks.
- Outdoor Connectivity: We understand that outdoor connectivity is just as important as indoor connectivity, especially for those who enjoy spending time in their backyard, garden, or patio. To address this, we’ve added an outdoor wireless access point for the client. This feature extends their network coverage beyond your home’s walls, allowing you to stay connected while enjoying the outdoors. Whether it’s streaming music by the pool or catching up on work in the garden, you won’t have to worry about losing your Wi-Fi signal.
- Tidy and Professional Install: As with any project, maintaining a professional looking installation was incredibly important to us. We take pride in our work, and that means not only achieving technical excellence but also ensuring that the end result is aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive.
